First Post (Cause I'm not fancy)

Hi, I'm new to this whole blog thing but as you can read in my about page this is something new that I wanted to try. I thought for my first post I would truly speak from the heart. Starting a blog wasn't easy for me. I have always struggled with my self-image so I was scared to put myself out there. I also thought that with my hatred of writing I would never do a blog, but I decided it couldn't hurt to try. So I did, and I almost didn't go through. I was telling a friend and they told me I had no stories to share. "How can you have a story to tell when you are just a high schooler?" That was along the lines of what I was asked. So I thought maybe no one wants to hear what I have to say, which may be true but as my parents always tell me, "you will never know unless you try." So, being the petty person I am I created this blog. I may not have a "story" to tell, but I will because I am writing it each and every day. Literally. So I hope you check out my about me page and if you like what you see please share with others. I hope that someday I can at least make am impact on someone someday and maybe, just maybe, that person can find me through this blog. Lastly, my posts will not normally be this long it's just the first one so I decided to talk a little bit more, but in the future posts will not be regularly this long. Yay! Less reading for you!
